Anybody see the final two hours of “Harper’s Island” thriller last night?

Did anybody else watch the final two-hour episode of Harper’s Island last night on CBS-TV like we did?

It’s a great show, if you like suspense and murder mysteries.

Neither my wife nor I expected the ending, and I won’t give it away, in case you still want to watch it.

It’s the first TV show that I can remember that was only designed for one season. Every week somebody gets killed until in the final episode there’s only six people left from the original wedding party on the remote Harper’s Island.

Watch the reruns on either the Harper’s Island website or one of several Internet websites which play previously aired programs.

“Are You Smarter Than (This Rockwall) 5th Grader?”

When we broke the story locally on Aug. 31 that the cast member of Fox-TV’s popular show “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader” named Bryce is actually from Rockwall, we also promised to find out more about him.

Well, congrats to the Dallas Morning News for finding him before we did. He’s Bryce Cass, who currently attends 5th grade at Reinhardt Elementary School in Rockwall. That is, when he’s not acting in movies, TV shows or commercials!

Read more about our local celebrity Bryce and his family in this Dallas Morning News article, Bryce Cass of Rockwall to appear on “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?”

Are you smarter than Rockwall 5th-grader Bryce, who’s on the TV game show?

“Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader” is one of Fox TV’s most popular shows. Now word has it that one of this year’s “class” of fifth-graders on the game show is Bryce, a 10-year-old math whiz from Rockwall, who wants to be a lawyer or accountant when he grows up. No other details are available, but we’ll try to find out more and post a feature story about him.
