Rockwall-Heath Hawk running back Kendial “Showtime” Lawrence received quite a bit of media attention yesterday when he announced his decision to sign a letter of intent to play at the University of Missouri next year.

I think Missouri was the best choice for Kendial , he did a good job picking. Although he wanted to stay close to home which made SMU a fantastic offer, seeing that it’s an outstanding school, and less than an hour away from Rockwall , where family and friends live. Missouri has a great football program and would have a better chance of getting publicity and being known. Either way, Kendial was great. We’ll miss him this year.
